"Gadget"
Available to a show/companion home
getting new pictures up of her soon, since this one is very outdated!! She is currently
available to a show home or to a companion home that would allow me to show
her and/or breed a litter from her before having her spayed.
About Gadget:
~ Beautiful head with tons of diamond wrinkle, nice angles, good tail set and shelf.
~ Very independent as a little puppy, she is turning into a lap dog <gg>. She loves
to sprawl across your lap to have her back rubbed. Very sweet, kissy personality.
~ LOVES to play and interact with people. Definitely a shoe thief! Loves her chew
toys, and has no qualms about stealing your things if she can't find an appropriate
chewy! She loves my toddler, but can be a bit too exuberant at times. A home with
children would be fine as long as the parents are dog savvy.
~ Gadget shows signs of *maybe* being an escape artist. She has no problem
jumping a 3.5 ft. baby gate. Prospective homes must have a 6 ft. fence -- preferably
a privacy fence or similar -- or be willing to take her on several walks (ON LEASH) a
day.
~Since Gadget can be somewhat alpha with other female dogs, a home with a male
dog for a companion or a home where she would be the only dog is preferred.
~ Gadget was raised around cats, so she is good with dog savvy cats. If you have a
nervous cat that likes to run, it might be too much temptation for her to resist giving
chase!!
~ Gadget is currently up to date on vaccinations and dewormings. She had her eyes
examined by an ACVO vet at 8 weeks old and had only minor bilateral iris-to-iris
PPM. She did qualify for CERF. Her sire is CLEAR for fanconi syndrome by
pedigree, so Gadget will NOT develop fanconi syndrome.
