23 October -- Some exciting litter updates. Although we aren't having any litters this year,
there are two breedings using our dogs this year. Both litters should have very nice puppies.

3 August -- Good news! We got Kinsey's fanconi results back from OFA and she is
PROBABLY CLEAR!
22 July -- There is a new basenji angel in the heavens. Sweet Taji (Echelon Sword Dancer)
was helped across the Rainbow Bridge today. His beautiful memorial is here.
20 July -- More good show results! Today in Omaha, Smoke (Melar's Wild for Speed) was
Winner's Dog and Best of Breed for a point. His sister, Star (Melar's Wild By Nature) was
Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite for a point. Smoke and Star are sired by Firbi (SunDiata
Dahabu Firimbi) and out of Talon (CH Echelon Noble Eagle of Melar). They're bred and
owned by Melody Falcone, Melar Basenjis.
19 July -- HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Missy Grooms and Gadget (Echelon-Rafiki
Charisma). They attended their very first show today in Omaha. Gadget (handled by her
mom, Missy) was Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for her first point!!
18 July -- Great health result news!! Melody had Talon's (CH Echelon Noble Eagle of Melar)
hips and eyes checked. Talon has OFA Excellent hips (BJ-2020E66F-VPI) and her eye's CERF'd
CLEAR -- no PPM!! Talon is expecting an exciting litter later this fall/winter. See the
upcoming litters page for more information.
7 June -- Echelon-Lacada Illusionist (aka Thumper) made his show debut this weekend in
Moberly, MO at 6 months old and was Reserve Winners Dog. Not bad for his first time in a
show ring! Thumper is owned and loved by Chris and Curt Franke and co-owned by us.

25 March -- I'm so pleased to announce that Gadget has gone to a fabulous new home. She
is now a member of the Grooms family in Auburn, NE. I couldn't have asked for a better
home for Gadget!
25 February -- It's a very sad day for us. We've lost our gentle giant 13 years to the date he
was foaled.

9 January -- Wow. It's hard to believe the puppies will be 8 weeks old next week. I've
updated the puppy page with a few random shots. We should be getting some nice stacked
shots (and some more fun pictures) up next week.
